LA-LA--Bridging the Gap--DAY 1

We all posed at the front of campus

James and his faithful admirer, John Biskow (sp?)

Alex met us at the Tulane Catholic Center after mass and it was so fun. He's pictured here with James, Sean, Chris, Kelly, Chris T., Me, Nicole, and Joey.

Look at the pretty nativity.

I really liked this shot at the front of the LOYNO campus!

When we got to the airport, I gave Alex Williams a call and was ecstatic to discover that he was still in town finishing up finals. Not only that, but his friend John, whom some of us met at NATCON was also there. They were so wonderful and gave us a very informative and entertaining tour of Tulane's campus as well as Loyola New Orleans, which is literally right next door. It was so much fun! And, I was so excited to get to see Alex again!
From 17 Dec-22 Dec 2006 I took an amazing trip to New Orleans with GICE to help with Hurricane Katrina relief. It was an incredible experience. And, I hope we can inspire others to raise the money and go help as well. There is so much still to do there. Yet, the city and it's people is still filled with hope and vibrancy. It was truly a blessing to have been able to attend this trip. I just hope that I can go back!
